Join us for an insightful post-election panel discussion, moderated by APS Founder and Board Chair, Ambassador Allan Katz (ret.) and featuring two distinguished political leaders, Kevin Yoder, former U.S. Congressman from Kansas, and Jason Kander, former Missouri Secretary of State and a leading voice in national politics.

Taking place at The Harry S. Truman Presidential Library and Museum, this discussion will delve into the results of the 2024 presidential election and its implications for the future of American politics.

The doors open at 5:30 p.m. for a lite reception; the formal program begins at 6:00 p.m.

This event is co-hosted by American Public Square and The Harry S. Truman Presidential Library.

Jason Kander is an Afghanistan Veteran, a former Missouri Secretary of State, and a guy who kind of ran for president for a minute.

Today, he is the president of national expansion at Veterans Community Project, the co-host of the Majority 54 podcast, a bestselling author, the founder of Afghan Rescue Project, and a men’s amateur baseball player.

Kevin Yoder served four terms representing Kansas in Congress. He served on House Appropriations Committee & was appointed Chairman of the Subcommittee on Homeland Security.

Now, he helps lead government relations at VENTURE in tech, energy, health care, aviation, defense & homeland security.

Program Moderator

Allan Katz is a former City Commissioner of Tallahassee, Florida and Ambassador to Portugal, nominated to the position by President Barack Obama. He is the founder and Board Chair of the American Public Square.

Ambassador Katz is a lawyer by profession and has been active in local and national government and politics for many years. He serves as a Distinguished Professor in Residence in William Jewell College’s Department of Political Science.
